Some people take to the water easily, whether they’re at the beach, at the swimming pool or trying out an extreme sport for which a wetsuit is needed.

However, there are some individuals who have had a bad experience, and this causes them to be fearful of the water until they face it again and overcome their trepidation.

One such individual is former footballer Gary Lineker’s wife, Danielle Bux, who is a model but is now taking steps into film.

She is going to be in a movie called In Between the Waves, in which she plays a woman who is obsessed with two men and follows them round Europe.

Although she is naturally very pleased to have been given her first acting role, there are some scenes which might be difficult for her to undertake.

One scene involves her putting on a womans wetsuit and nearly drowning while swimming. It is likely that while this part of the film is shot there will be people waiting to save her if she does actually suffer difficulties, but this might not stop her feeling worried.

She explains, “I have been a very nervous swimmer ever since I nearly drowned when I was caught in a rip-tide in the Mediterranean. I was 12 and if it hadn’t been for my step-brother…I might not be here now.

“He was nine but nevertheless a very strong swimmer and he just swam and swam and swam until he pulled me back.”

We wish Danielle all the best in her first film and hope that the wetsuit scene is shot without incident.
